Say Hey!(offensive stuff and posts that creep us out will be deleted)
Love the music. Whats up Joe call me some time.
You guys were great at the Magnolia Music and Medicine Show. You sounded excellent and muffled backstage during the show, but when I heard you on the radio the next night I was amazed once again by how great you guys sounded. And don't forget, save the liver.
Thanks all for the kind comments. We had a terrific time at The Magnolia Music and Medicine Show. Everyone was so nice to us. Deepwell had a large group of friends/supporters present. You made us proud..we really appreciate it. The Medicine Show has quickly turned into the hottest ticket in town and Deepwell was proud to take part. The Medicine Men sounded great and Blue Mother Tupelo impressed everyone. They were just plain terrific...and just really nice folks too. We all had a blast pickin' and grinnin' at the cast after-party.
In response to Cosmic travler all I have to say is....A big ole" hell yeah man" and hats off to the medicine men and rocky creek and much thanks to you Donnie, you where a life saver.thanks again and again.
as always, great to hear y'all!!! and of course i was thrilled to hear my song--much love
Hey, you guys are the real deal. This thing about country (reading the questions)...who says the Nashville corporate product/Pretty boys with cowboy hats are country? Those dudes just got their diapers off! Deepwell is real country: you live there and sing real songs about life and love. You travel dirt roads and play real instruments. That's country. But it rocks! Rocky Creek Band and the Medicine Men support their friends, Deepwell. Keep up the good work. Cosmo
Great Show in Eastman! Always good to hear y'all and hang out with the band afterward! You guys are fantastic and we hope to catch you again soon. Keep up the good work!
Wow what a great time! You know, sometimes life will suprise you and things will turn out much better than you might have expected. This was the case for Deepwell's 4th of July performance on the banks of the Ocmulgee River in Hawkinsville Georgia. We just wish more Deepwell Dwellers could have been there. However, since it was a private party, we really didn't have the liberty of announcing it here. However, we are thinking about doing it again. Maybe next time we can make it public. Anyway, about the performance...the rains came and stopped and then they came and stopped a few more times but everyone was so patient. Finally, everything cleared enough for us to play a lengthy set of Deepwell nuggets including Hiway Home, Run Jackie Run, Near the End, Aint It Abaout Time and a 20+ minute Allman Brothers inspired version of the old Siamese Left classic "Train" and many others. The set felt extremely good to us and judging from everyones very kind comments afterwards, we guess it was okay. We do however apologize for ending our set with a murdered version of "Freebird". Everybody was laughing(including us) so hopefully everyone realized it was a joke aimed at Ricky Dye who had told us he was going to yell out "play Freebird!". I must note that we only had one request for "some Skynyrd". Bottom line...Deepwell had a great time.
deepwell is playing at a party at the river - it will be fun- they will sing around 7:00 with or without the band: at the river, the river; we will gather at the river ..
Yeah! I did get them. Thanks! However. I've gotta resize them though 'cause they are HUGE. I mean like one persons head fills the whole window. Thats no big deal though. I just havn't done it yet...but I will soon. We really appreciate it. I guess you're now the official band photographer.
