Ain't it about time!
After a long hiatus, Deepwell FINALLY returned to the stage at the Annual Gram Parsons Guitar Pull and Tribute Festival in Waycross Georgia.
It's official !

It's hard to believe this was our 7th year in a row! Thanks to Dave Griffin for having us back! What a great time!  
Deepwell will be kicking open the doors of Hoopee Jam 2013.
We'll be the first act performing on Friday May 3rd at 4pm!!
We will be just the first of MANY performers including
Mike Farris, Wet Willie, Col. Bruce Hampton, Jeff Sipe Trio, Randall Bramblett Band, Tommy Talton Band, Kettle of Fish and MORE!!

Here' direction from I-16 Take I-16 east. Take exit 78/Hwy. 221
Turn left onto Hwy 221. Travel 5.9 miles through Norristown and turn right onto Halls Bridge Road (gravel road) Landmarks on 221: You will go by a store called 'Gillis Springs' on the right, then you will cross 3 bridges, go thru Norristown proper, pass a cemetery on the left, Halls Bridge Rd is at the bottom past the cemetary. Travel .6 mile then turn left onto J. M. Spearman Rd (also gravel). Travel 1.5 miles and turn right through the gate (Hoopee Jam sign and reflectors will be posted at this gate, and a volunteer will man the gate) Check in point is at the end of the drive.

(above)The 2010  Battle of Guitars in beautiful Chester Georgia
has come and gone ...but was a always!

It was terrific to hang out  and hear all our good buddies from
 The Country Gentlemen, The Rusty Bridgers Band, The Rocky Creek Band, and The Lee Jessup Band.

The four guys that make up this band from rural Georgia have played together for so long, that they are as close as brothers. 
The  result, however, is that they get along like brothers.
Day to day moodiness and silly bickering can and has 
produced premature endings to more than one performance. 
However, when the planets line up and everything is going right, Deepwell is as unstoppable a runaway train.
